8 February 2021: 106 new Covid-19 cases, 13 deaths

Zimbabwe recorded steady figures for new Covid-19 cases and deaths – although higher than Sunday – according the latest data released by the Ministry and Health and Child Care on Monday.

106 new cases were recorded with 40 the highest in Harare.

With 274 new recoveries it meant a drop in active cases again in the country.

There were 13 deaths, five of them in Harare.

As at 08 February 2021, Zimbabwe had 34,658 confirmed cases, including 28,825 recoveries and 1,339 deaths.

Zimbabwe is currently under a lockdown with curfews and stay-at-home orders that runs until 15 February 2021. The conditions are as set out below.
