1 February 2021: 160 new Covid-19 cases, 17 deaths

Zimbabwe’s activeCovid-19 cases continued to decrease according to new data released on Monday by the country’s Ministry of Health and Child Care.

160 new cases were recorded up from 115 the day before. 72 of those were in Harare.

There were however 539 new recoveries dropping active cases to 5,731.

There were however 17 deaths, 10 of those from Harare reported.

As at 01 February 2021, Zimbabwe had 33,548 confirmed cases, including 26,583 recoveries and 1,234 deaths.

Zimbabwe is currently under a lockdown with curfews and stay-at-home orders that runs until 15 February 2021. The conditions are as set out below.
