Zimbabwe recorded a drop in active Covid-19 cases even as deaths remained high according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Child Care on Thursday.
There were 342 new cases (83 of them in Harare) and 732 new recoveries meaning active cases weng down to 7,067.
There were 38 deaths of people with Covid-19 recorded.
As at 28 January 2021, Zimbabwe had 32,646 confirmed cases, including 24,419 recoveries and 1 160 deaths.
Zimbabwe is currently under a 30-day level four lockdown with curfews and stay at home orders.
