22 January 2021: 476 new Covid-19 cases, 45 deaths

Zimbabwe recorded a drop in positive in new Covid-19 cases recorded on Friday according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Child Care.

There were 476 new cases recorded down from just over 600 the day before. The highest recorded were in Manicaland with 105.

There were 1,511 recoveries meaning active cases dropped down to 8,481.

There were 45 deaths recorded.

As of 22 January 2021, Zimbabwe recorded 30,523 cases, 21,080 recoveries and 962 deaths

Zimbabwe is currently under a 30-day lockdown with curfews and stay at home orders.
