16 January 2021: 772 new Covid-19 cases, 17 deaths

The number of deaths of people with Covid-19 although new cases remained high.

There were 17 deaths recorded.

But 772 new cases were reported with 458 new recoveries.

As at 16 January 2021, Zimbabwe had 26 881 confirmed cases, including 15 872 recoveries and 683 deaths.

Zimbabwe is currently under a 30-day level 4 lockdown with curfews and stay-at-home orders.
