13 January 2021: 1,017 new Covid-19 cases, 38 deaths

Zimbabwe recorded over 1,000 new Covid-19 new cases on Wednesday according to new day from the Ministry of Health and Child Care.

New data shows 1,017 new Covid-19 cases, 419 of those in the capital Harare Province alone.

A total of 38 deaths were reported in the 24 hours leading up to the period where in information was recorded. 20 of those were in Harare Province.

262 recoveries were recorded.

As at 13 January 2021, Zimbabwe had 24 256 confirmed cases, including 13 658 recoveries and 589 deaths.

Zimbabwe is currently under a 30-day lockdown with stay at home orders and curfews. More info below
