11 January 2021: 820 new Covid-19 cases, 21 deaths

Zimbabwe recorded 820 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, 385 in Harare alone according to the latest Ministry of Health and Child Care data released.

All cases were local transmission.

21 deaths were recorded, 12 of them from Harare.

The most significant number of recoveries were recorded, with 631.

As at 11 January 2021, Zimbabwe had 22 297 confirmed cases, including 13 213 recoveries and 528 deaths.

Zimbabwe is currently in a 30-day hard lockdown with stay at home orders and curfews.
