14 recover from Covid-19 in Zimbabwe CHAN camp

14 of the 15 individuals in Zimbabwe’s CHAN camp have recovered from Covid-19.

This was confirmed by the Zimbabwe Football Association who also said training has resumed.

Nine players and six officials including coach Zvardko Logarusic had tested positive for the coronavirus leading to suspension of training and isolation of individuals concerned.

Another test will be carried out on 12 January 2021.

Zimbabwe depart for Cameroon for the CHAN tournament on 14 January 2021. They kick of their campaign against the hosts on 16 January 2021. They are in the same group as Mali and Burkina Faso.
