Zimbabwe international Tino Kadewere was the difference has his goal gave Lyon their first win at Paris Saint-Germain in 17 years.
The goal, in the 34th minute was a clinical finish after a defensive mistake by the hosts. Kadwere latched onto Toko Ekambi’s through ball and steered his fifth goal of the campaign low into the corner beyond Kaylor Navas.
The win takes Lyon second in the Uber Eats Ligue 1 table. They are level on points with log leaders Lille, 29 after 14 matches.
Pencilled in for a bit-part role following his summer arrival from Le Havre AC, Kadewere has made himself impossible for Lyon coach Rudi Garcia to drop.
