Set a target of 79, the Harare-based side chased it down in 14.1 overs.

Captain Modester Mupachikwa led from the front with a swashbuckling unbeaten 47 from 42 balls.

The two wickets, Kellies Ndlovu (5) and Mitchell Mutongawafa (18) were the two to lose their wickets to Tuskers captain Novelo Sibanda.

The second-wicket partnership 64 Mupachikwa and Mutongawafa was the bedrock of the victory.

In the end Eagles reached 81 for the loss of two wickets to grab the big prize.

But it was the bowling earlier that set this all up.

Precious Marange returned figures of two for six in her four overs. In fact, only one bowler, Kellies Ndlovu went at over five an over from her five overs when Tuskers, who won the toss batted aggressively during the powerplay.

In the end, from 37 or the loss of one wicket in 6.2 overs, Tuskers were restricted to 78 for the loss of six.

And with that, Zimbabwe Cricket finish their provincial women’s T20 competition.
