DStv Now has been rebranded as standalone streaming services draws near

Multichoice has rebranded its DStv Now streaming service to just DStv.

The app and the website have changed their names to the above. And Multichoice said on its blog:

We’ve changed the name from DStv Now – but kept all the features the same – you can stream your live channels and watch catch up too. If you don’t have auto-updates on your device, you can update your DStv app by going to your app store

MultiChoice said that customers can sign up for the DStv streaming service online with their email and password, but they will still need to provide a DStv account holder’s ID number, smartcard number, or customer number

Yep, DStv ‘dishless’ is coming gang.
