Big Brother Naija is back next month with Covid-19 precautions

Fans of Big Brother Naija need not fret.

Season 5 has been confirmed to kick of this July according to Multichoice Africa.

Again this one is produced in Nigeria after the successful season 4. That was the first on in that country after the first three were held in South Africa.

The upcoming fifth season of Big Brother Naija heldonline auditions in which people sent in a 2-minute video, instead of physical auditions.

John Ugbe, MultiChoice Nigeria CEO:

This fifth season promises to be more adventurous, exciting and entertaining, and will undoubtedly be the biggest thing on African television in 2020.

As the new edition draws near, fans and viewers can get ready for the excitement and entertainment that this season will bring as they enjoy weeks of unending drama, intrigue, romance, Friday night games, the famous Saturday night parties and an overall battle of wits as the housemates vie for the ultimate prize.

The timing of the show is also particularly important, given the dominance of the Covid-19 pandemic; auditions for the fifth edition will now be held online, and viewers and stakeholders alike can rest assured knowing that global best practices, precautions and preventive measures will be followed throughout the show

The show will be available to all Sub-Saharan Africa subscribers including Zimbabwe.
