Rwanda opens Kigali airport to local and international travellers

Rwanda has opened its Kigali International airport to local and international travel.

For international travelers, they will have to carry a COVID-19 PCR test certificate. This must be based on a test taken within 72 hours before travel  by an ISO (International Standard Organization) certified laboratory.

They will also be subject to a Covid-19 test on arrival with results available after eight hours.

All travellers will have wear face masks and must practise physical distancing. Sanitisers will be available throughput the airport.

On Wednesday the government allowed international tourists to enter the country with charter flights as it reopened tourism activities.
