Zimbabwe has registered its fourth death related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the government has confirmed.
It is that of an 82 year-old woman from Mhondoro Mashonaland West.
She passed away at West End Clinic at 2am Wednesday morning.
Contact tracing is said to be under way. It is unknown where the woman was infected.
Dr Margaret Maulana, Executive Director Health Care Services Premier Service Medical Investments said they have now closed the casualty area and WestEnd hospital has been fumigated.
Of course, questions will be asked about why a patient was in a hotel not designated for Covid-19.
