Dereck Chisora has had his licence withdrawn by the British Boxing Board of Control following his clash with David Haye in Munich, according to promoter Frank Warren.
Chisora’s antics in the leading up to the last month’s bout where he slapped Vitali Klitschko around the face during the weigh-in, before going on to spit water in the face of the Ukrainian’s brother, Wladimir have landed him in hot water.
Chisora who also had himself suspended indefinitely by the WBC for bringing the sport into disrepute now faces an uncertain future.
He has 14 days to appeal.
