Zimbabwe beat Brazil in World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series opener

Zimbabwe defeated Brazil 24-14 in their opening tie of the all-new World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series in Vina Del Mar, Chile, on Saturday.

Tries from Martin Mangongo, twice, and Godknows Mavara coupled with conversations by Stephen Hunduza and Hilton Mudariki (2) did for the Zimbabweans.

And yet it could have gone a bit different after leading 21-7 before Laurent Bourda-Couhet went over right at the end to get it closer. But Zimbabwe had it in the bag.

Zimbabwe play Mexico and Chile and matches later on Saturday.
