The Zimbabwe ladies volleyball team claimed the silver medal in the at the Continental BVB Zonal Competition / Zonal Phase Qualification~Tokyo 2020 held in Maputo Mozambique.
They finished ranked behind the hosts and qualify for next phase along with South Africa and Zambia.
Zimbabwe’s team was made up of Progress Gasa, Nyengeterai Guyo, Media Mafuta and Viola Muchaoona. Kudzai Sibangani was the coach.
For a country that does not have beaches, we are pretty impressed by our ladies and keen to see them at the Olympics come Tokyo.
