‘Kokota piano’ duo replaces Vigro Deep for Unplugged Zimbabwe

Unplugged Zim is truly sad to inform its audience, sponsors and partners that Vigro Deep, has cancelled his appearance at Unplugged today, the 14th of December, in Harare and will be replaced by Kaygee Daking and Buzizi, known for the Amapiano anthem ‘Kokota’.

Unplugged was advised through Vigro Deep’s management that he has lost his travel documentation and is consequently unable to fly.

Vigro Deep was scheduled to perform at the final Unplugged event of the year on Saturday the 14th of December at Greendale Sports Club. Vigro Deep, who was looking forward to his maiden visit to Zimbabwe, communicated the news to the Unplugged team in the very early hours of this morning.

As management, Ellinah and Chiedza have worked tirelessly to secure an alternative act
since 2am. Thankfully, South African Artists Kaygee Daking and Buzizi of ‘Kokota’ fame
are flying in to Harare to deliver what is sure to be an explosive performance.

We have always tried to do our best to ensure each show lives up to the expectations of
our audience, and we simply could not them down by not providing a Unplugged wishes to affirm to its sponsors and partners and its audience that Unplugged Zim honoured all its obligations in the way of fees to Vigro Deep. It had also successfully secured all local regulatory clearances required for an appearance of this nature – and that this cancellation was in no way as a result of any error on their part.
