Prince Dube was on target again as Highlanders beat TelOne 2-0 in a Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matchday tie on Sunday.
His strike from the spot in the 88th minute followed that of Brian Banda four minutes earlier.
Caps United restored their five-point lead at the top of the table with a 3-1 win over Hwange. Joel Ngodzo, Kelvin Ndebele and a deflected goal from Ronald Chitiyo helped the Green Machine to all three points.
Bulawayo Chiefs did their chances of surviving relegation no harm, beating Triangle United 2-1. Hugh Chikosa and Arthur Musiiwa were on target.
Herentals salvaged a late point to draw 1-1 at Chapungu.
Manica Diamonds and ZPC Kariba also draw 1-1.
