WATCH: The Malilangwe Scouts – Short film about group protecting natural heritage

To become a scout, you have to be honest, you have to be disciplined, you have to be someone with love.

Those are the opening lines from a new short film called The Malilangwe scouts.

The film delves into the activities of a group of individuals working to protect the natural heritage of Zimbabwe.

The biggest fight for them is against poaching, a war against those trying to kill rhinos.

The team behind the film, Black Bean Productions say:

The Malilangwe Trust, not only inspired us, but made us realize that anti-poaching is not just about training and discipline, it’s also about forming bonds with those in your team.

The film follows teh training of Darlington and Unless up to the pass-out parade.

The video got our attention after Zimbabwe-born Australian rugby union player David Pocock, who is currently at the World Cup posted it on his Twitter account.
