Cash-in, Cash-out ban lifted, with limits per transaction – RBZ

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe has lifted a ban instituted on the cash-in, cash-out and cash-back facilities.

The bank cited enhanced monitoring systems that have been put in place by the RBZ and payment service providers to mitigate against abuse of payment systems and ensure abusers are brought to book.

The notice also says that the cash-out facility will now be limited to $100 per transaction. Existing cash-in and cash-back limits will remain.
