Zim name Cosafa Women’s Under 20 provisional squad

Coach Rosemary Mugadza has selected the provisional squad for the inaugural Under-20 COSAFA Women’s Championship to be played from 1 to 11 August in South Africa.

The team convened on 23 July for camp and has already commenced training in Harare.

Zimbabwe is in group A with the hosts, Namibia and Mozambique.

Zimbabwe will play the hosts on the opening day at 2 pm and the other fixtures are as follows:

Zimbabwe vs Mozambique – 3 August

Namibia vs Zimbabwe – 5 August

The Under-20 team will leave for South Africa on 29 July together with the Mighty Warriors who are also playing in the senior tournament also being played in Port Elizabeth..
