Gumbo named interim Zim coach

Rahman Gumbo will coach Zimbabwe in the interim for their back to back CHAN 2020 qualifier matches after the resignation of Sunday Chidzambwa.

In a statement, the Zimbabwe Football Association said:

In the interim, Rahman Gumbo assisted by Lloyd Mutasa will lead the technical team for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) assignment against Mauritius

Gumbo and Mutasa worked as Chidzambwa’s assistants.

It will be Gumbo’s third stint as coach of the Warriors.
