The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority has announced a fuel price adjustment, which is really code for the price has gone up.
The announcement was made late Friday night and the new charges are as follows:
- Petrol E20 Blend – $6.10
- Diesel – 5.84
Finance and Economic Development Minister Prof Mthuli Ncube had said fuel would go up but gave very little indication as to what the margin would be, only saying that eventually it would have to always be equal to USD1.
