Khama out of Tanzania friendly with injury

Zimbabwe will be sweating over a niggling injury to talisman Khama Billiat which will see him ruled out of the Africa Cup of Nations 2019 pre-tournament friendly against Tanzania on Sunday.

He missed training on Friday when he was excused. His knee problem is being monitored.

But it is being done as a precaution so as to make sure he is ready for the opening Afcon tie against hosts Egypt on 21 June 2019.

Sunday Chidzambwa’s men are in Group A with the hosts as well as Uganda and DRC. They are pushing to make their way to the knockout stage for the first time.
