Zimbabwe Probable Starting XI for Cosafa Cup semi against Zambia

Zimbabwe play Zambia in the semi-final of the Cosafa Cup on Sunday evening.

While some people expect acting coach Rahman Gumbo to give a few other players a run-out but the smart money is probably on him putting out his best side. This is after all the second last friendly before regular coach Sunday Chidzambwa takes 18 players off to Nigeria for a friendly on a Saturday.

This means defaulting to a team that has been trusted in the qualifiers. Gumbo says he will not want to overload his players which might mean he might tinker a bit more. Nakamba, Munetsi and Musona should get a start since they didn’t get one against Comoros. We expect Khama Billiat is available after a knock but the coach might decide not to risk him. So we have gone with Talent Chawapihwa.
