SHORT FILM REVIEW: Nigel Ndlovu’s #ZimShutdown inspired ‘The Loot’

We came across Nigel Ndlovu’s short film The Loot.

Starring Godswill Ncube it is an often ignored take on the disturbances in Zimbabwe this past January 2019 often referred to as #ZimShutDown.

The film does feel like something of a time capsule, watching deep thought and delving into art spaces. It is an existential moment.

It is pretty short, and yeah we get it, it is a short film and feels more like a statement more than interlinked drama especially between the scenes.

Watch it below and tell us what you think of Nigel Ndlovu’s The Loot.
