Muskwe, Lunga in as Chidzambwa announces squad for Congo tie

Coach Sunday Chidzambga has named the Warriors provisional squad ahead of an important Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Congo.

The core of the squad remains to complete the task of securing a place at the extended AFCON finals in Egypt later this year but Willard Katsande misses out having played a role in the Warriors’ narrow 1-0 loss in Liberia.

Kudakwashe Mahachi returns and so does Evans Rusike who missed the Liberia clash in November due to injury.

Kelly Lunga and Admiral Muskwe have been called up. There is no place for Macaulay Bonne in spite of the excitement that he would be called up.
