Unplugged Zimbabwe partners with #100Bhuku campaign

The massive monthly party that is Unplugged Zimbabwe has joined the #100Bhuku drive.

And on the edition this coming Saturday at Wingate Golf Club, our campaign will have a table where you can drop off reading books for children.

Said Chiedza Danha of Unplugged Zimbabwe:

We’re really glad to be coming on board for the final push in the Southern Africa 100 Bhuku Campaign. This is a really worthwhile initiative because the joy and power derived from reading can significantly change the outcomes of young people and we are happy to put our support behind this. We’re encouraging all folks coming to Unplugged to come through with any old books and magazines they have at home. 100 Bhuku will have a stand where they can be dropped off.

And rememer this show has DJ Cleo in it and is the fifth anniversary of Unplugged.

And here is some more fun news. Because people have been so keen and drop-offs are still being accepted at Multichoice Zimbabwe offices until 14 January.

We are delighted with the support they have given along with Fresh In A Box, TRM Legal, Powerplay, Prowl Magazine as well as Tinashe Tafirenyika heading the southern region campaign and Trish Carmen helping logisitics along.

A special mention for our social butterfly Ancillar Dee who has been pivotal to this whole campaign.
