LOGAN CUP: Mumba six-for helps Rhinos topple Mountaineers inside three days

Defending champions, Mountaineers have gotten their Logan Cup campaign to a terrible start with a 104-run loss to Rhinos in Kwekwe.

Carl Mumba took a career best 6-7 in 8.4 overs to return an economy of 0.8 as Mountaineers were bowled out for 140 in their second innings.

Mumba removed the whole lower ordered with a spell of inspired bowling.

Only Tafadzwa Tsiga (26) and Donald Tiripano (31) provided some sort of resistance with a 43-run partnership but it was a forgettable match really, the only thing worth noting being the 5-42 in the second Rhinos innings by  captain Tiripano.
