Here is who we think will replace Mudimu and Musona against DRC

Zimbabwe captain Knowledge Musona and Alec Mudimu are suspended for the second match against DRC in Harare on Tuesday.

The call by many fans is for Talent Chawapiwa to replace Musona but  the smart money is on Ovidy Karuru given coach Sunday Chidzambwa trust the latter more. Rodwell Chinyengetere’s call-up should be just to fill up the numbers says ZiFM Stereo sports analyst Alois Bunjira.

As for Alec Mudimu, Byron Madzokere should slot into central defence with Teenage Hadebe. Mudimu is a big miss and perhaps with better planning Zifa should have asked Eric Chipeta to stay in camp even if he had not been picked in the squad.

As it stands, there is confusion over the availability of George Chigova but Zifa insists only Mudimu and Musona are suspended.

The rest of the lineup should remain the same for the most with Tendayi Darikwa, steady in Kinshasa set for his second start.
