Zimbabwe cricket captain Hamilton Masakadza faced the media on Thursday on the eve of the second T20I match against South Africa.
Zimbabwe lost by 34 runs in East London and Masakadza believes his charges can build on that:
I thought there were a few good signs in that [first match]. Although the top-order didn’t fire, but the guys towards the back hung around a bit, especially the way Peter [Moor] batted. We’re just looking to build on that.
I think the guys need to give themselves more time. I think the guys at the top have rushed themselves a little bit. So that and better execution.
Zimbabwe will have to do better dealing with the threat of Imran Tahir who twice has taken five-fors on this tour.
The match is from 18.00hrs local time on 12 October 2018.
