AUDIO: Revealing your sexuality is not a crime – St John’s College teacher sexuality debate

David Hofisi, a lawyer formerly with the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights has said one revealing their sexuality does not constitute a crime.

This is in light of the recent announcement by a St John’s College teacher Dr Neal Hovelmeier that he was gay first to students then to the parents.

This has sparked a huge debate, at the core being sex and sexuality as well as what teachers should be allowed to tell their children.

Hofisi was speaking to Larry Kwirirayi on ZiFM Stereo’s The Platform. Also on the panel was Zimbabwe Teachers Association CEO Sifiso Ndlovu.
