Harare names suspended four over cholera donor fund graft

The City of Harare has named four officials it suspended over inflating prices for sourced material in the current fight against cholera.

The four are Philimon Rwafa who is the Procurement and stores officer, two buyers Smart Mhuka and Tafadzwa Reza ans well as  Tawanda Marange, a Cadex Clerk.

The issue was flagged when Strive Masiyiwa, whose company Econet contributed $10million to the fund accused individuals and municipalities of inflating prices by as much as 2,200% when it came to material needed for the fight against cholera.

Disciplinary proceedings are now going to be taken against them.
