Ali’s Trainer Angelo Dundee Dead At 90

Legendary boxing trainer, famous for being Muhamad Ali’s cornerman Angelo Dundee has died at the age of 90.

The motivator and challenger of many a boxer – 15 world champions he trained –  died at his Florida home.

He trained Ali for most of his career and it is the most successful trainer-fighter relationship with Ali winning the heavyweight title three times, at a time when men got into the ring to hurt each other.

He was one half of the greatest. A bastion of what was the soul of boxing. A great mentor and motivator. A credit to the sporting world in general.
