Zim PSL Match Day 18 results: FC, Ngezi Platinum lose

FC Platinum and Ngezi Platinum suffered surprising defeats on match day 18 of the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League on Saturday.

Leaders and defending champions FC Platinum were at home to ZPC Kariba and lost 2-1. Tawanda Munyanduri opened for the visitors midway through the first half before Tawanda Nyamande doubled the lead in the 49th minute. Rodwell Chinyengetere pulled one back for the home side with 15 minutes to go.

Second spot holders Ngezi Platinum suffered a shock 1-0 loss at home to league debutants Herentals. Tino Benza scored the goal in the first half.

Caps United were held 0-0 by Harare City.
