Jarvis was injured in the first match against Pakistan on Monday attempting a catch after injuring his finger in what is suspected to be a fracture and dislocation. At the time of his injury he was in good form conceding only 9 runs in two overs having grabbed a wicket.

He is also expected to miss the ODI series against Pakistan after the T20 matches. That five match series takes place in Bulawayo.

Zimbabwe take on Australia in the third match of the series hoping to register a win to get their campaign going.
