Zimbabwe to face Botswana in Cosafa Cup quarters

Defending champions and record five-time winners Zimbabwe will face Botswana in the quarter finals of this year’s Cosafa Cup in Polokwane, South Africa on Sunday.

Khama Billiat

Botswana have been impressive and their 6-0 over Mauritius will be the highlight of the tournament. They will be up against in Sunday Chidzambwa, a coach who has never failed to win a match at the tournament and has been champion more than anyone else.

However, Zimbabwe have been rocked by injuries to key personal such as captain and talisman Knowledge Musona as well as Costa Nhamoinesu. That means Khama Billat will need to step up to the plate and show leadership in this tournament.

Zambia have already gone through to the semi-finals following a 4-3 penalties win over Namibia. The match had ended 0-0.
