Klusener, Blignaut set for SA & Zimbabwe Legends match [full squads inside]

The squad lists for the upcoming T20 exhibition match between South Africa and Zimbabwe Legends taking on a Zimbabwe select side set for Newlands Country Club on Saturday 28 April have been announced.

Lance Klusener and Roger Telemachus have joined the legends side which will also feature Andy Blignaut, Gary Brent, Paul Adams, Gavin Rennie and others captained by Douglas Marillier.

Richmond Mutumbami captains the select side which has current Chevrons such as Tarisai Musakanda, Tendai Chisoro (on the back of a 13-wicket haul in the Logan Cup), Ryan Burl and former ODI star Piet Rinke as well Cambell Macmillan who while never having played for the Chevrons had a moderate career with Midlands.

The curtain raisers will see Howzat Academy taking on Ramah Academy and Marondera Select vs Rainbow.

The main match will take place at 2pm.

The after party will have DJ Iroq on decks.

Advance tickets at $7,$15 and $25 are available from Billy’s Meats (Mount Pleasant), Corky’s Pub & Grill (Balantyne Park) and webtickets.co.zw. They will also be at the gate.
