Zim PSL Match Day 7 Saturday roundup: Chiefs shock FC Platinum

The biggest result of Saturday’s match day seven action is the 2-0 for newboys Bulawayo Chiefs over champions FC Platinum in the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premer Soccer League.

Chiefs scored their first goal from a counter in the 28th minute. The second came on the stroke of half time from a Moses Maijika free kick. Chiefs then withstood concerted pressure in the second half to clinch a memorable win.

Meanwhile, Ngezi Platinum beat Mutare City 2-1 with goals from Jeffreys Takiunda and Xolisani Moyo.

Triangle United came from a goal down to beat Bulawayo City. City went ahead with a Timothy January effort. KUdzai Chigwada and Courage Denias won it for United.

Yadah went 2-0 down to Nichrut while Harae City and Black Rhinos played out a goalless draw and ZPC Kariba were held at home Chick Inn.
