The video goes beyond suggestive to, hey, ‘where did that boner come from?’. She picks some afro chic elements certainly in terms of colour and fuses them into intimate homely driven sexuality. She sells the aspect of a relationship (in this case, marriage well).
Oh the song is the unshackled RnB sexuality of the 90s (we miss that because everyone is so seriously lame about this now) and drops of mbira for effect in there (Vimbai known in many places for her mbira skills).
Simba Gee does a great job on something that could have gone south fast, sexuality that gets tacky.
But did we see some nipple there?
