Have you ever tried to type in ‘period tracker’ on the app store?
Spoiler alert –the results are higher than your O Level Math Results (If you are my cousin Chipo).
So when I realized that they were tons of options for a period tracker app,I thought, “What the hell? I’ll try them out” .
I downloaded three different period apps, rated them based on the following:
- Cost
- Usability
- Design
Period Tracker – Period Calendar Ovulation Tracker
If you like colour and relatability, you’ll love this app. The home screen is awesome. It gives me what I need to know in a nutshell. The calendar function is easy to read and takes no time to learn. You can customize your avatar, IT’S CUTE!

Eve Period Tracker by Glow
This period and body positive app is that BFF you didn’t know you needed to keep track of your period and your mood swings. Eve is that friend that will comment on your flow and she is also the perfect bedside companion.

This app has clean interface that has an easy to read chart. Besides recording the dates and details of your period, you can also keep track of other aspects of your hormonal and sexual health, including your mood, physical symptoms, activities, cravings and more. You also have the option to share your data with someone else, like a friend or partner.

Design: 8/10
