Jarvis left his county side Lancashire to return to play for the Chevrons and Streak says he is excited:

Kyle has had a few great years in county cricket and has been a consistent performer there, so we are very excited to have one of our Zimbabwean boys back.

On what it does for the national team’s ranks Streak was unequivocal:

He was desperate to come back and represent his country again in international cricket. His return bolsters our strength in terms of our grip and we are very happy to have Kyle back and I know he is happy to be coming back home.

The 28 year-old Jarvis makes a return to represent the country of his birth along with former captain Brendan Taylor.

While the length of Jarvis’s contract is not known we are told he sees himself as available until the end of his career.
