Mighty Warriors thrash Kenya to make Cosafa final

Zimbabwe will play South Africa in the final of the Cosafa Women’s Championship final after beating Kenya 4-0 on Thursday.

Rutendo Makore was on target again for Zimbabwe and for the first time in the tournament she was helped by others. Berita Kabwe, Marjory Nyaumwe and Priviledge Mupeti were all on target as the defending champions went on a rampage of sorts, a strong reaction after their lacklustre showing against Malawi in a 3-3 draw in the group games.

Earlier South Africa needed penalties to edge Zambia after the match ended 3-3. The penalty shootout ended 5-3.

The final is on Sunday.
