AUDIO: A chat with Tinashe Mukarati about the inaugural Zimbabwe Jazz Festival

The first ever Zimbabwe Jazz Festival is on this weekend featuring some of Harare’s top talent in the genre.

#3mobradio had a chat with one of the organisers, Tinashe Mukarati, a representative of The Management Group and a member of the Zimbabwe Jazz Community Trust on this.

In the chat we talked about:

• The growth of the jazz community in Harare
• Why they chose the artists on the roster
• The growth of the artists throughout the 18 months since inception

The festival takes place at Alliance Francaise on 23 September from midday. Tickets are only available at the door and are priced at $10.
