It feels like one of those weird relationships.
Zodwa waBantu was coming, then not coming, then coming then now is no coming again.
She was meant to perform at the Private Lounge on Friday and then at Club263 on Saturday.
But she confirmed the news on her Instagram, something first broken by The Herald
I am not going to Zimbabwe. I won though. South Africa it’s home (sic). We make friends with other nations.
Argh.
Anyway it appears as if she will be coming at a later date that has nothing to do with the Harare International Carnival and stuff.
Meanwhile the Carnival has its famous Samba Night on Friday. It was moved from Wednesday because the troupe of dancers were tired. Now it is on Friday in the road and parking lot right outside Private Lounge.
Mind you, even if Zodwa had come through, having inside the building and the rest outside was going to be a logistical nightmare.
