Zimbabwean pageant director Tare Munzara who was held by Malaysian authorities over a drama in which he appeared to be caught up in a sex trafficking scandal.
The arrest was made public by South Africa’s Police Minister Fikile Mbalula in which he claimed a citizen of his country as well as a few others had been rescued from a syndicate.
He has since been released and took to Facebook to thank those who backed him through his ordeal.
I was Vilified but the world refused and rejected the claim because they know who i am, and they know my brand values as Tare Munzara . I was being branded the wrong way , because someone wants to claim media attention for fame at the expense of my name,my work and all those who were involved in it
I am beyond grateful , so Shout out to all those people from different countries esp Zimbabwe and SA who believe in me supporting me through adversity without doubting me , family, friends, business associates and constituents. .Some of you, i do not even know you in person but you fought for me. We shamed the devil,we defied the odds. I am is still on the road to success . Dream chasing is painful, but all i can say is dont give up instead go through the pain…. This is God Engineering
When we spoke to Munzara he sounded upbeat and raring to go.
