Champions Caps United‘s dismal run of form continued as they lost 2-3 to Harare City at Rufaro Stadium in Saturday’s matchday 19 round of matches in the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
Marvin Gaki opened the scoring for City before Caps rallied back to take a 2-1 lead through John Zhuwao and Dominic Chungwa with 15 minutes to go. Valentine Musarurwa then put the ball into his own net. Jerry Chipangura completed the comeback for Philani Ncube’s men.
Meanwhile Rodwell Chinyengetere made it two goals in as many matches as his solitary strike was the difference in a victory over Bantu Rovers. FC Platinum winning that match 1-0.
Meanwhile the the ties between ZPC Kariba and Yadah as well as as Tsholotsho–How Mine ended goalless.
