Bongo Maffin in talks to reunite

Khalawa Jazzmee head Oscar ‘Oskido’ Mdlongwa says Bongo Maffin are talking about a reunion.

He told TshisaLIVE

We cannot confirm anything right now but we are in talks to make it happen and they seem to be at an advanced stage. Everyone really enjoyed working together so now it’s a case of just putting all the pieces together.

Stoan, Jah Seed and Thandiswa Mazwai recently got back together for an advert getting fans into a frenzy.

Mazwai was not as optimistic in a recent DRUM interview:

I am not visualising a reunion any time soon. Right now I’m working on another album that will take me to West Africa.
