Zimbabwe captain Graeme Cremer bowled an incredible 30 overs, 16 in one spell grabbing three wickets as Sri Lanka were 293-7 at the end of day 2 of the only test in Colombo.
With Zimbabwe posting 356, Craig Ervine finally out for 160, Sri Lanka came in confident of a charge.

And they had started well, the openers with a stand of 82 before a mini collapse in which they lost three wickets for 32 ensued.
After rebuilding the innings there was another one three wickets for 26 runs.
The Chevrons were in the moved as they hunted every ball, dived for everything, giving themselves a shot at a first innings lead.
Cremer collected 3 wickets, two of them catches by a returning Regis Chakabva with the gloves.
In the final wicket of the day, debutant Tarisai Musakanda sprinted to backward point, lunged for the ball, picked it up, flicked it to Malcolm Waller at point in one motion, who threw it to Chakabva. Dilruwan Perera was short attempting a second run.
A fighting Zimbabwe came to the party.
